E.E. Training is compulsory

Apart from consulting with the workers, setting out an employment equity plan, meeting targets and submitting reports to the Department of Labour, companies are also required to inform  and train their staff as to the process and progress of the employment equity plan.

The training of staff in Employment Equity matters as well as the  forming of an Employment Equity forum is a statutory obligation placed on employers.
